Militant Surrenders In South Kashmir

A militant of the LeT has surrendered  in the district of Shopian in South Kashmir, a police spokesman said on Friday.

 

“A youth suddenly appeared at police station Imamsahib, in Shopian last night and announced that he wanted to surrender.




“While questioning the militant, he was identified as Abid Ahmad and said that he was given the rifle by Shakoor Ahmad Parray who decamped.” Police said.

Meanwhile, Abid Ahmad surrendered along with one ak rifle and a magazine.
