In a major Crackdown against Narcotic Suppliers in Srinagar City, Today on 16/01/2018 Police Party of P/S Soura Headed by SHO P/S Soura Shri Ayaz Geelani Under the Supervision, SDPO Hazratbal Shri. Rameez Rashid Bhat, during Naka Checking at Bolochipora Crossing near SKIMS Soura Intercepted One Alto-800 Vehicle bearing Regd.No. JKO1X-7020 and during the Search 1019 Bottles of Codeine Phosphate were recovered and three persons arrested. The arrested persons are as follows
1. Mudasir Sultan Bhat @ Majid S/o Mohd Sultan Bhat R/o Sir Syed Abad Bemina
2. Feroz Ahmad Khanday S/o Ghulam Mohamed Khanday R/o Bilal Colony Qamarwari
3. Faisal Ayoub Sheikh S/o Mohd Ayoub Sheikh R/o MIG Colony Bemina.
In this regard Case FIR NO; 07/2018 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Soura. This huge consignment of codeine Phosphate was meant for supply to the drug Pedlars who then sell these drugs to the youth of the area and in way directly poison the young generation of the society. This drive against the Narcotic is in continuation to the sustained campaign of JK Police to rid the society of the menace of Narcotic and substance abuse which is taking toll on the young general. The generation Public has widely hailed this step by Police.
