Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Saturday said that Hindus and Indian living in foreign countries eat beef.
“It is only to divide the nation on the basis of this issue and most of Hindus like to eat beef he said”. He also added that “what is the difference between beef and mutton for those who consume meat”
He condemned the killing of 50-year-old Muslim man who was killed over rumors that he and his family were eating and storing beef and called it as Political game.
It is against the humanity to kill the human for eating beef, he further added.
“It was wrong to kill a man for eating beef in Dadri. Everyone is free to consume food items of his choice,” the RJD chief said, adding that ‘People should not eat beef at all, it is the cause of many diseases and not good for health’.
Lalu also blamed the ruling party for Dadri incident saying, “it is only communal violence. Only BJP is responsible for such violence.”
After the Lalu’s Statement, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Griraj Singh quickly reacted asking him to take back his words. Singh has threatened that BJP will take this issue to the ongoing campaign for Bihar assembly polls if Lalu failed to take back his words.
