Srinagar, April 10 : Lashkar-e-Toiba Tuesday said that the militant outfit “appreciates” the people of Kashmir for boycotting the elections and “rejecting the Indian slavery.”




In an emailed statement to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit’s chief Mehmood Shah said that the people boycotted the elections and braved bullets to show the world that it has rejected the India’s sham democracy.

“India has no moral right now to occupy Kashmiri people. The world community has witnessed India’s terror on Kashmiri people on election day but despite that remains silent. By rejecting elections, Kashmiri have shown the world that they stand for Azadi,” he said.

While paying tributes to the youth killed by forces on polling day in Budgam and Ganderbal, LeT chief said that he applauds the unity of Hurriyat and people in Kashmir and “this unity will lead us to freedom”. (KNS)
