KTMF President Urges J&K Bank to Process Pending Cash Credit Loan Cases of Traders

Srinagar 27 December (KNB): Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) President Mohammad Sadiq Baqal urges J&K Bank to process the Cash Credit loan cases of traders which are pending in various branches of the bank from a long time.

A statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau, Baqal said that KTMF is receiving a number of complaints of traders from every corner of the valley that they are facing difficulties as their cases are not being processed timely and the bank authorities in various branches are not processing their cases even after the completion of all documentation required for sanctioning the cash credit loan cases.

The President urged the bank authorities that the business community have suffered a huge loses during the past lockdown period and they are in urgent need of these loans to sustain their businesses.

He further urged the bank authorities to provide multiple choices with regard to the insurance of the cash credit accounts and the bank should once confirm from the customer about the insurance policy of their accounts.

The statement read, “Various complaints are being received from the traders alleging that the J&K Bank has insured their accounts without consulting the customers as their remains a difference in annual premium from one company to another and the customer should have the liberty to choose the insurance policy of his own decision.

KTMF President Mohammad Sadiq Baqal urged the higher authorities of J&K Bank to look into these matters and resolve the issues on priority basis so that the trades may not suffer at any cost. (KNB)
