Srinagar 29 October (KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir People Democratic Party Office at Srinagar has been sealed by the J&K Administration and senior leaders were detained by Police,  Mehbooba Mufti said in a Tweet.

According to Kashmir News Bureau reports,  Jammu and Kashmir Police detained senior Leader of PDP Khurshid Alam, Waheed Para, Suhail Bukhari, Mohin Qayoom, Tahir Sayeed, Yasir Bhat, Rouf Bhat and Hamid Kohsheen while protesting against the new land law at PDP office.

Earlier PDP workers had organized a protest against the J&K’s New Land Laws by the Government of India and the police arrested number of them.

PDP President took to Twitter and said, “PDP office in the Srinagar sealed by J&K admin & workers arrested for organizing a peaceful protest. A similar protest was allowed in Jammu so why was it thwarted here? Is this your definition of ‘normalcy’ that’s being showcased in the world? @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @manojsinha”.

Few days ago, Mehbooba’s National Flag statement raged anger and protests from the Rightists were held at different places including at PDP’s Jammu Office. (KNB)
