The week-long autumn session of the J&K assembly begins today.
Independent legislator Er Rashid Saturday staged a protest as Speaker Kavinder Gupta made his entry into the hall of legislative assembly.
Our correspondent in the assembly told Rashid held a banner with a message, “No interference in religious affairs”, to welcome the speaker.
The bill, along with similar bills by National Conference and CPI (M) is likely to be taken up for discussion in the assembly.
