Currently, we are debating the impacts of TV on our society. But according to my viewpoint there is a wide range of quality educational TV shows for children that are meant to teach children basic literacy skills or help them think creatively. These include various programmme on GyanDarshan. They are also popular among children and play an important role in education of rural children who generally don`t have much access to internet etc.
So, we need to bear in mind that TV has diverse positive impacts.
