Srinagar 29 March (KNB): Huge arms and ammunition were recovered by police in Karnah’s Dhanni village along LoC on Sunday evening by the security Army and Police’s high vigil.
As per officials, five AK rifles, seven pistols, magazines, and other ammunition were recovered in Dhanni village, falling in close proximity to the line of control after the specific inputs.
“Such operations conducted by the security agencies along the line of control inspite of Pakistani domination is re-assuring and makes us feel safe,” said an army spokesman quoting the locals.
It further said that “In the last two years, a total of 16 weapons & over 50 KG of narcotics has been recovered from Karnah.” (KNB)
