Srinagar 29 December (KNB): A gunfight between militants and security forces broke out in Central Kashmir’s Hokarsar area of Srinagar.
As per reports, a joint team of forces — Police, Army’s 02 RR and CRPF — launched a cordon and search operation in Hokarsar and were heading towards the suspecting area when the hiding militants fired upon the forces, which triggered off the encounter.
As per sources, two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the encounter. (KNB)
