Gun is not solution, come forward for dialogue: Governor

Srinagar, June12(KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik today addresses a press conference at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar.

Malik while addressing  press conference said, “Gun is not the solution, the only solution to peace is dialogues I want militants to come forward and discuss with me at Raj Bhawan how their way is right, they will realise that the way they have chosen will only lead them to destruction  and if they think they can break our country with violence they are highly mistaken, leaders should come forward and must play a vital role in bringing misleaded youth on table.”

Talking on developmental projects he said, “we will soon introduce light railway system in valley, new 102 colleges will be set up in State and 43 ghats on the banks of Jehlum River.”

He further said, “Remmuneration of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and others to be increased to 50,000 and 20,000 respectively and so far 36,000 ReT teachers have been regularized.”(KNB)
