Govt Designates 15 Hospitals in Kashmir, 8 in Jammu For Covid Treatment Only

Srinagar 24 April (KNB): The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday in its order said that fifteen hospitals in Kashmir and eight  in Jammu have been dedicated for Covid treatment only. 

The order issued by the government reads that I am directed to convey approval of competent authority to notify the following Health Institution along with their Bed capacity as dedicated Hospitals for COVID treatment only in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

Following are the 15 hospitals of Kashmir division with bed capacities dedicated for Covid treatment are C.D. Hospital, Srinagar (104); JLNM Hospital (150);  Kashmir Nursing Home (50); SDH Sopore (50); Trauma Hospital Bijbehara (110); NTPHC Akhura Mattan (50); MCH Kulgam (60); NTPHC New Building Pethkot Budgam (40); NTPHC New Building Parisabad Budgam (30); PHC Channapora Budgam (34); NTHPC Bandipora (Maternity Center Sanavni) [100]; CHC Dawar (30); Tibiya College Shivath Bandipora (56); CHC Hajin (80) and Army Hospital JAKLI, Rangreth, Srinagar (250). 

However, the number of 8 hospitals in Jammu division with bed capacities dedicated for Covid treatment are Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu (90); C.D. Hospital, Jammu (110); MCH Complex, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu (98); CHC Ramgarh (25); Old Hospital Kishtwar (70);  SDH Nagri Parole (30); CHC Chenani (80) and AH Ghagwal, Samba (08). (KNB)
