Srinagar 18 April(KNB): In a major boost to the People’s Democratic Party, Former President of the J&K People’s Conference Students Wing, Adv Samir Sabir Lone, along with his supporters, joined the party today in the presence of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and Former Member of Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir.
Welcoming him into the party fold, Mufti stated that the PDP is committed to fulfilling the people’s expectations and expressed hope that his joining would further strengthen the party. Former MP Fayaz Ahmad Mir, while welcoming the new entrants, expressed delight at Adv Samir’s decision to join the JKPDP family.
PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, during the occasion, expressed her delight and emphasized the importance of unity among all stakeholders in fulfilling the collective aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Upon joining the PDP, Adv Samir Sabir Lone expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to contributing to the party’s vision for the region. He praised Mehbooba Mufti’s representation of the people’s sentiments, acknowledging her valiant and uncompromising political stance.(KNB)
