Oh ! see the rushes and the fun
The elections have just begun
I defy separatists, I defy terrorists and their glare
It’s only my vote that I care
Vote I will and Vote I must
In you Oh! separatists , I no longer trust
I want development and I want peace
I no longer want to be your ‘meat’
You run your politics on my name
Leave me free and see the game
My ‘aazadi’ is my vote
All you care are only ‘notes’
For long you have kept me ‘in’ with your boycott calls
74% now will show you all
We want peace and development
You can keep your disgruntlement
For the people, by the people, we have realized
You please make yourself more wise
The winds of change will blow you away
It time that you go far away
Down with your politics and coercion
That has kept me under suppression
Not anymore subversion
Sufism and Kashmiriyat will be back
And no more will we call ourselves ‘a paradise lost’
Ballot will win over bullets
Integration will win over separatism
And Inshallah ! we will be a great nation
