‘Will expose malpractices, wrong policies of the bank’
Jammu | June 30: The Executive Committee of Ellaquai Dehati Bank Officers’ Association have started a two day strike against what they alleged the indecent and abusive attitude being displayed by the management of the Bank towards the officers at review meetings, seminars etc. In a statement issued here, the Association said that the indecent behavior has crossed all the limits in a recent meeting.
“On June 24 in a meeting, the insensitivity displayed by the management in dealing with an officer who virtually collapsed has totally exposed the inhuman face of the Management. Even the emergency medical aid was avoided to hush up the issue,” the association General Secretary said.
Adding, the reign of terror let loose by the management to prevent the officers from voicing their concern on the wrong policies of the Bank Management has not stopped despite all possible efforts and initiatives of the Association. The Association has warned to intensify the protest and expose the malpractices, favoritism and nepotism going on in the bank.
