Director Urban Local Bodies, Tufail Mattoo addressed students of local schools in Kupwara and Handwara, Saturday on the eve of Children day.
Narrating the significance of Children day, Mattoo urged on students to dedicate themselves to studies and strive for being better citizens.
“Jawaharlal Nehru was a visionary, he had a dream of beautiful united nation, you being the future have to make every dream of development get translated to truth,” Mattoo said.
He interacted with students at the same time addressed teachers to strive in the way of quality education.
Mattoo also held meeting with other officials to bring dynamism in the education system and encourage other co-curricular activities and interactivities.
