Death penalty to Kulgam Youth ‘murder of justice’: Malik

‘Muzaffar a victim of Indian judicial vengeance’

Srinagar, Feb 03: While strongly condemning the verdict of a lower court of Kolkata against Muzafar Ahmad, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik Friday termed the court verdict as ‘murder of justice’.In a statement issued to KNS, Malik said, “In past, Indian judicial system executed father of Kashmiri nation Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru in similar fashion and now the same system showing its bias against Muslim Kashmiris has again initiated a process of assassination of yet another Kashmiri innocent.”

He said that Kashmiris being a state-less oppressed people can only raise their voices against this kind of judicial miscarriage and will resist all efforts of oppressors and it is the duty of the international community and civil society in India to stop this state sponsored bias against Kashmiris and save their lives from it.

Malik said that Indian judiciary was targeting Kashmiris with its biased methodology and inflicting injustice on them while as the government, administration and the judiciary is all hand in glow and perusing the policies of pushing Kashmiris to the wall.

He said that the tall claims of India being biggest democracy are getting exposed in Kashmir where all democratic norms are trampled and the even judiciary is tainted to victimize the innocents.
