Pulwama, May 28(KNB): Clashes broke out between youth and security forces at Bongam Village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on
Tuesday morning after forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO).
According to the sources security forces laid a search operation around Bongam area of Karimabad village following the inputs regarding the presence of militants in the area.
As the forces started search operation the mass of youth lash down to streets and started stone pelting inorder to impede the operation, the forces responded by firing pellets and tear smoke shells.
The operation ended later as no militant was found in the area.
