Budgam 15 February (KNB): Around five to six persons belonging to Bonhama village of Budgam district were detained by the Beerwah Police on Sunday after on the purported charges of stealing some goods from the area, claimed the police.
According to Station House Officer Beerwah, Sarmad, around five to six persons have been detained on the charges of stealing some goods which are being looked into by the police to confirm it.
He said that some persons are in custody owing to their likely involvement in the theft and a few among them were released earlier after being vetted.
“Till now we cannot say anything in particular regarding the case, but we are investigating the matter and steps will be taken accordingly,” he added. (KNB)
