Bandipora 18 May Bandipora Cricket Club (BCC) today won the BPL Cricket T-20 tournament defeating Shahnaz Boon of Hajan by 31 runs. BCC while batting first made 168 runs for 07 wickets while Shahnaz Boon could only make 137 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Imtiyaz Ah Bhat of BCC was decided the man of the match for making 42 runs and taking 03 wickets. BPL organised by 14 RR(GARH RIF) and District Youth Services and Sports Bandipora commenced on 24 Apr 2013with the aim to select the Bandipora team for participating in Kashmir Premier League. A total of 90 teams of Bandipora district took part. The initial tournament was played on knockout basis from which the best eight teams were selected for the league matches. In a glittering prize distribution ceremony, prizes were distributed by Mr Bashir Ah Khan, SP Bandipora, Mr Tariq Ah Zargar, ADC, Bandipora and other dignitaries.
