Jammu 07 January (KNB): In the wake of recent deaths of birds, especially crows, due to the avian flu in the different States of India, the Panj Peer area of Rajouri in J&K too witnessed the deaths of crows likely of the same virus.
The crows’ carcasses were found in Panj Peer area following the deaths of the same birds by different variants of bird flu in other states of India like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.
As per official, the team is going to be constituted to figure out the reason of deaths of crows in Panj Peer area of Rajouri over past few days.
However, the Ministry of Health and Family Affairs has recently said that no reports of avian influenza in humans have been found so far. (KNB)
