Army Organises Medical Camp; 500 People Attended In Pulwama

Pulwama, 09 January 2016.   As a part of the run up to Chinar Corps Centenary on 12 Jan 2016, Rashtriya Rifles Unit organized a Medical Camp in Juwan Gosai, Pampore of Pulwama District today.

According to Satement issued “the camp evoked on overwhelming response by the locals wherein over 500 people, comprising of 225 Male, 175 Female and 100 Children attended the Medical Camp and provided with Free Medicines, Consultation and Health Education on personal hygiene, small family norms, nutrition and child care. Patients were given medical treatment and cases requiring specialised care were referred to SKIMS, Srinagar.

Local populace especially village elders including Sarpanch and women folk appreciated the tireless efforts of Army is bringing medical facilities at the door steps of populace residing in remote areas of the Valley and meaning fully contributing towards the development of area.
