Srinagar: Army camp based at Rengret flagged off a nine days long National Integration educational cum motivational tour for the selected students of various engineering colleges of Srinagar, under the aegis of Chinar Corps.
On behalf of Chinar Corps, Chief Signal Officer, Brig Manjeet Singh, flagged off the tour on 30 June 2015. On the occasion, he complimented the youth for the keenness shown by them to participate in the tour and emphasized that the tour is being planned with an aim to give the youth an excellent opportunity to physically and technologically connect themselves with the students and faculty members of the premier institutions of Indian Army and other civil institutions in and around Mhow.
The tour will certainly make a positive impact on the youth and will motivate the youth to come up with better ideas for their future endeavors. The selected youth will get an opportunity to travel out of Jammu and Kashmir and interact with populace and learn about the diverse culture, religions and multilingual society of India. The team is scheduled to visit Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Infantry School, IIT Indore and IIM Indore. The tour members would also have the honour of interacting with the eminent personalities of these institutes. Apart from all the technical and educational side, the students will also be shown the Army Adventure wings Army Aero Nodal Centre (AANC), an adventure Node which conducts courses on Microlight Flying. The tour will also ensure that students get the complete mix of all flavours and colours to turn the trip into really a memorable one. Visit to local tourist spots will also be scheduled which will provide the students with adequate leisure and entertainment.
