Ammunition Recovered in J&K’s Mendhar near LoC

Poonch 30 December (KNB): In Medhar’s Dabbi village of Balakote sector near Line of Control (LOC), two grenades and pistols with seventy rounds of bullets were recovered from the hedges. 

According to officials, the militant associates arrested on Sunday had revealed the site where ammunition was concealed. The ammunition included two pistols, two grenades and seventy rounds of bullets which were covered in a polythene bag in the hedges.   

Pertinently, the three militant associates, who led the police to the spot of ammunition, were arrested on Sunday. ” Police and Army have recovered 02 Pistols,70 Pistol rounds & 02 Grenades kept in bushes on LoC in Dabbi village of Balakote sector in Mendhar Poonch which was kept there by terrorist handlers from Pakistan & recovered on the disclosure of 03 terror associates arrested on Sunday,” stated the police.
