The picturesque Hamlet of Aloosa Village in North Kashmir serene district of Bandipora was dealt a heavy hand today when police resorted to unprovoked shelling and pellets against the people of area .
“Police during their raids in the village Aloosa has resorted to shameless hooliganism injuring many by profuse use of pellets and Shelling against the residents. Many houses have been damaged, windowpanes broken.This is height of oppression and for no fault we are being subjugated and oppressed. All this should be investigated and this sort of cruel actions put to an end .” Residents state that police atrocities in the village have become worrisome for them and snatched their peace of mind.
Pertinently, the police high-handedness has come at a time when the current Government is trying to resort to drum-beating on the so called semblances of normalcy.
The Aloosa residents have in one voice demanded action against such persons in uniform who cause damage to public and flex their muscles on innocents without any faults.
