After DDC Win, 4G Will Be First Gift For Kashmiris: Senior BJP Leader

Srinagar 15 December (KNB): National President Jamaat-Ulama-e-Hind and senior BJP leader Moulana Suhaib Qasmi, who is campaigning for his party’s candidates for District Development Council (DDC) has expressed his views on an array of issues, with particularly emphasizing that resumption of 4G will be gift for the people of Kashmir after BJP wins in DDC elections.

During the interview with Kashmir News Bureau, Qasmi praised the efforts of Kashmir’s people reaching out in flocks to draw their votes.

“People are full of zeal and cast their ballot as if it is the Parliamentary elections. They have completely rejected the enforced rule of earlier parties, which was on them from ages,” said Qasmi.

While responding to the question of Kashmir’s current situation, Qasmi said that there is anger, fear and a semblance of dejection, and this gloominess is because people did not want to see those leaders again, alluding to NC and PDP.

He said that they have ruined the atmosphere of Kashmir and brought militancy here with their 70 years of scourging presence.
“The youth of Kashmir remain segregated from the rest of India because earlier ruling parties of Kashmir destroyed them and impeded their progress to do wonders,” he added.

Qasmi further said that the alliance of BJP and PDP did not work out because of corruption and other maladministration practices were an integral part of the PDP.

He said that the BJP party is contesting and promising people a better future because of its scaling down of corruption and other scams which were rife in the earlier administrations of Kashmir.

“These positive developments since the removal of Article 370 provides a template for our party to contest and win elections. Nowadays, we see election rallies of BJP parties in different areas of Kashmir and people carrying the Indian flag because of the trust people have on Modi,” Qasmi said.

He further reiterated that the correct leadership had not administered people of Kashmir in the past.
”We believe that people of Kashmir need leaders and not dealers. Also, those who have looted it for years will not be pardoned,” said Qasmi. (KNB)
