In an important development related to braid chopping, two LAWYERS from Kashmir have filed a Public Interest Litigation at Jammu and Kashmir High Court calling for swift identification of elements involved in this heinous crime.
Pertinently, Advocate Hilal Akbar Akbar Lone and Advocate Masarat Kawsar have filed this PIL titled as Hilal Akbar lone V/s State.
Talking to this correspondent , Advocate Masrat Kawsar stated -” We have in our PIL brought attention of honorable High court into the serious matter of braid Chopping and calling upon the Police to ensure nabbing the culprits and making the women folk feel secure .With intrevention from Court we are hopeful that the process of acting swiftly in these ugly incidents of braid chopping will gain momentum.We are hopeful that it would be Soon listed for hearing.”
Masses are hopeful that with this PIL the investigation process would gain momentum in the case.
