One millitant was killed in an ongoing encounter with the security forces in Bounigham area of Qazigund in Kulgam district.
The encounter started when the militants attacked the patrolling party of army in which three soldiers were injured.
After the attack Militants took shelter in a building and fired upon forces triggering gunfight.
