A youth was injured after government forces fired at protesters in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.
The youth was identified as Aqib Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani, resident of Hajin. However, some reports identified him as Ishfaq Ahmad Wani.
Ahmad was shifted to Primary Health Centre Hajin where from he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, clashes are going on between protesters and forces in Hajin town at New Bridge.
Huge deployment of army has been made in Hajin.
