Srinagar, May 26(KNB): With another death of a 90 year old man on Tuesday due to Civid-19 from Kulgam district, the death toll rose to 24 in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the reports, a 90-year-elderly man resident of Khaloora Kulgam who was referred to SKIMS Soura from GMC Anantnag yesterday became another victim of novel coronavirus, breathed his last today.
However, the patient besides testing positive for Covid-19 was suffering from pneumonia with chief complaints of fever and breathlessness.
As of now the death toll due to the virus has gone upto 4 in Kulgam and overall 24 in J&K with Srinagar district having highest number of the deaths 6.
Meanwhile, 34 fresh positive cases of the virus were reported today from army’s command hospital in Udhampur, taking the tally of patients to 1702.(KNB)
