Srinagar 08 January (KNB): Weather across Jammu and Kashmir improved from the Friday morning after heavy snowfall from last several days, making UT’s routine life come to a standstill.
After the MET, Srinagar department’s prediction of snowfall in the Kashmir valley on January 4, the people were taken aback with the heavy snowfall on the Tuesday morning of January 5th. During the spell of snowfall, the different departments contributed towards snow clearance from the roads, with people from many areas not being fully satisfied with their work.
However, the weather has taken a turn for the better on Friday morning and makes the air traffic resume hassle-free after its resumption from yesterday. Whereas, the National Highway still remains shut for the road traffic movement for the fifth consecutive day. (KNB)
