Mumbai 15 August(KNB):Renowned actor Vijayendra Kumeria, currently engrossed in the production of his daily show “Teri Meri Doriyaann,” is expanding his horizons as a hands-on producer. Kumeria, recognized for his acting prowess, has delved into the realm of producing, with his latest offering being “Jahan Chaand Rehta Hai,” a captivating series airing on DD National.

Reflecting on his journey as a producer, Kumeria elaborates, “We have a history of producing shows for Doordarshan, including several for Dangal TV like ‘Crime Alert’ and the finite series ‘Dhaak.’ Our venture extends to short films and web series as well. It’s truly gratifying to contribute another show to the esteemed National broadcaster. People often inquire about my balancing act between acting and producing, and I must credit our exceptional creative and production teams for making it feasible. Preeti and Irfan, in particular, serve as the pillars that uphold our productions. While we collaborate on most projects, my physical presence isn’t always necessary.”
He continues, “I derive satisfaction from both on-screen and behind-the-scenes roles. I cannot choose between the two, as creativity and filmmaking, in any capacity, hold my interest.” Contrary to popular belief, Kumeria firmly disputes the notion that DD National lacks popularity. “Kumeria Productions transcends boundaries. We embrace projects that offer creative fulfillment and commendable returns. DD National, as a national broadcaster, holds sentimental value to me, having marked the beginning of my career. We will continue to create for them whenever an opportunity arises. It’s worth noting that this channel boasts extensive reach and selects concepts that impart meaningful messages to society.”
“Jahan Chaand Rehta Hai” narrates a relatable tale wherein the protagonist aspires to follow in the footsteps of Kalpana Chawla, the celebrated astronaut. Her dreams of lunar exploration and determination to overcome obstacles become an inspiration in themselves. Kumeria emphasizes, “The narrative encompasses the theme of female education, coupled with an engaging screenplay that encapsulates emotions and drama. I’ve always maintained that content should blend entertainment with meaningful messages. This story has the potential to empower countless girls to pursue education, and parents will likely encourage their children to follow their aspirations.”
When queried about his future as a producer, Kumeria confidently expresses, “My ambitions are expansive, and I don’t intend to downplay them. I aspire to emerge as one of the foremost producers in our industry. My aim is to create quality content across diverse platforms.
