Srinagar, June 05(KNB): The death toll due to Covid-19 reached to 38 after two more people succumbed to the virus on Saturday in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the reports, one of the victims includes a 70 year old man from Shopian who was shifted to CD hospital yesterday and another female 62 year old from Jammu.
While as, the elderly woman from Miran Sahib Jammu who was admitted on 24 May and tested positive subsequently, died today. Besides testing positive for the virus, she was suffering from heart and orthopedic problems also.
As of now, the death toll due to the virus in J&K has gone up to 38, with Srinagar district having the highest number of deaths nine followed by Baramulla seven, Anantnag five, Kulgam four, three each in Shopian and Jammu, two in Budgam while one death each has been reported from Bandipora, Kupwara Doda and Udhampur.
