Two army men, including an officer, were killed while another soldier was injured after militants ambushed an army patrol party in Shopian district of south Kashmir early Thursday.
An official said that militants attacked an army patrol party in Zaipora village early today.
An army Major and two soldiers were injured in the attack, he said.
The injured were airlifted to 92 base hospital in Srinagar for treatment where Major and another soldier succumbed
