Srinagar, April 22: Vice chairman Lawda Tufail Matoo visited and took the review of works done in the catchment area of Dal lake which is managed by watershed Management Division lakes and waterways Development Authority.
This year the said Division has planted 60000 plants in the catchment area of Dal lake.
Project officer watershed Management Division Gazalla Abdullah accompanied the vice chairman along with Range officer Mohd Younis junior engineer syed Nasir and other field staff.
Lastly the Vice chairman applauded the efforts of the watershed Management Division and directed to restore and stabilise the catchment area of Dal lake so that broader objective of saving the Dal lake is achieved.
