Srinagar, Aug 7 : A paramilitary CRPF trooper was injured after his service rifle went off accidentally in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Monday.
A police official told GNS that a CRPF constable Khupmang Hang Singh (23) of 98 bn received bullet injuries in his left leg after his service rifle went off accidentally while he was cleaning it at Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) Kupwara.
The trooper was immediately shifted to 168 military hospital Drugmulla for treatment. However, his condition is said to be stable. (GNS
