The young social activist and journalist, Touseef Raina, has been appointed as director Asia News Network (ANN) the first online channel of Kashmir Valley.

Tariq Bhat founder of Asian News Network made the announcement officially earlier today in Srinagar.
ANN Kashmir’s first app-based television channel, meant exclusively for mobile phones. The mobile TV telecasts programming in Kashmiri English, Hindi and Urdu, from its station in Srinagar.
It shows a variety of multi-lingual programmes, including songs, news, current affairs and entertainment programs. `
“ANN is great platform to show case the real feel of kashmir and Kashmiri youth in today’s scenario on single finger touch on your snart phone” Raina said.
The app is available on Google Play Store and has been downloaded more than 80,000 times.
