Srinagar, June 03 (KNB): Three JeM militants were killed and an army soldier injured in an ongoing encounter that rages between militants and government forces in Astan Mohalla Kangan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
As per the reports, a cordon and search operation was launched by joint team of Police, Army’s 53 RR and 183 BN CRPF in Astan Mohalla following some credible inputs, as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
Three JeM militants have been killed, one army solidier is injured, so far while the identification of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
