Thousands of people attended a funeral Monday in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir region for a militant who was killed in an encounter with government forces Yesterday.
Kashmiri muslims carried the body of local LeT militant Adil Ahmad Wagay ,through the streets, and called out prayers.
Adil was killed on Sunday in a gunfight with security forces in Pulwama’s Kakapora village.
According to local human rights group, for more than six decades, leaving more than 70,000 people dead and some 8,000 missing.
