Stop bulldozing youth, students in Kashmir

Bhim Singh warns PDP-BJP Govt.

Prof.Bhim Singh, Founder of Panthers Party and champion of human rights has warned the Kashmir Govt. to stop bulldozing, detaining and suppressing the youth and the students in J&K, particularly in Kashmir Valley just to bulldoze the confidence and the moral of the younger generations who are committed to brotherhood and to ensure civil and political rights for the younger generations too. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the NC-Congress government used the same kind of fascist method in fifties and again in sixties by killing students in 1966 inside Science College Jammu and detaining hundreds of students in Jammu including this person writing this statement.

Prof.Bhim Singh accused Modi government for sheltering PDP government only because RSS has grabbed power in J&K for the first time with RSS MLA as Dy. Chief Minister.

Prof.Bhim Singh demanded immediate release of all the students and youth detained in police stations or in the jails unconditionally and without any delay. Prof.Bhim Singh said that this is unfortunate that a writ petition filed by the Panthers Party seeking intervention of the Supreme Court under Section 92 of J&K Constitution to direct the President of India to advice the Governor of J&K to dismiss the PDP-RSS government in J&K and impose Governor Rule without any delay that too in the interest of fundamental rights of the people of J&K who have been suffocating under the PDP-BJP government for the last 104 days in J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that he is getting hundreds and hundreds of calls every day from the activists of different political parties, students, lawyers, hospital patients, employees who have been suffocating in J&K for 104 days. Schools in Kashmir Valley closed, colleges shut, government offices have remained closed and there is no rule of law rather no rule at all. This is not democracy as there is no rule of law. The people ringing from Kashmir Valley, particularly elder ones, have been ringing me all nights asking to convey what is happening in Kashmir to the President of India. Old ones proudly speak that rule of Maharaja Hari Singh was thousands times better than present democracy where even the children are not getting milk for their survival, the cattle are not getting feed, the patients are not getting medical treatment nor even medicine. Shops closed. Internet facility is locked. This is not democracy nor there is any rule of law and the Central government cannot exploit the people of J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that there was more democracy and humanism in J&K during the rule of Maharaja Hari Singh. He urged President of India to invoke Article 370 without any delay. Direct the Governor of J&K to release all the students and the youth from jails and police stations. Let the students go to their educational institutions and the unemployed youth attend their work for their survival.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that the failure of J&K government to release the students will not be allowed under any circumstances even though fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of India are not applicable to J&K under the garb of Article 370 which has been used to keep the citizens of India in J&K away from their fundamental rights.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that he shall not fail in his duty and in the objective of J&K National Panthers Party to ensure that every citizen in J&K is guaranteed fundamental right and honour to live with honour and dignity like any other Indian citizen in the country. He hoped that President of India may intervene so that the students and youth shall return their schools and colleges and shall no more be locked in prisons and police stations. Prof.Bhim Singh said that he has experienced all this trauma for 8 1/2 years during his student life as well as during his MLA ship while fighting for justice and human dignity as well as his fundamental rights for over 55 years. He said he shall fight for his brethren in J&K because I find them lonely today. Justice is our birth right and we shall, Insa Allah, accomplish our mission.
