Srinagar 30 December (KNB): The three slain militants’ families started to assemble outside the Police Control Room (PCR) Srinagar after the Hokersar encounter ended, pleading that their sons were not the militants.
As the Srinagar encounter ended around 11:00 am with GoC H S Sahi’s press conference about the incident in the aftermath, the families of the slain militants amid wailings alleged that their sons had nothing to do with the militancy.
The families of the slain militants put out the reasons regarding the innocence of killed militants, whereas the police officials have confirmed them militants but did not establish their identities and affiliations yet.
Pertinently, the GoC H S Sahi had earlier maintained that the militants were equipped with heavy arms and were planning to carry out a big attack on Srinagar-Baramulla highway. (KNB)
