Poonch, October 8: A soldier was injured after Pakistani troops allegedly violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district, officials said.
The officials said the Pakistani troops targeted Forward Posts at Kripan 1 and Kripan 2 in the morning. “In the firing, one soldier namely Sepoy Jaspal Singh of 22 Sikh Regiment was hit in his abdomen,” they said.
He was immediately air-lifted to Command Hospital Udhampur, the officials said, adding that the condition of the Sepoy is stated to be critical.(GNS)
