Srinagar | Nov : A shopkeeper was critically injured after protesters pelted him with stones for violating the shutdown call and opening his shop at Nikas village of south Kashmir’s volatile Pulwama district.
According to sources, the stone pelters attacked the shopkeeper Muhammad Altaf Ganaie son of Abdul Hameed Ganaie with stones when he at his shop doing the routine business.
“The stone pelters resorted to heavy stone pelting in which he was badly injured. They (protesters) attacked him for violating the shutdown call by the resistance leadership,” sources said.
Ahmed was critically injured and was immediately shifted to a local sub-center at Rajpora where from he was shifted to SMHS Srinagar in critical conditions.
Meanwhile, protesters also broke down windowpanes of vehicles in Wusan Kangan area. (PTK)
