Srinagar 19 March (KNB): As former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior politician Muzaffar Hussain Beig joined hands with Sajad Lone, it is most likely that the forefront of JK Peoples Conference (JKPC) will have more powerful political faces in coming days.
If sources are to be believed, senior national political leaders are most probably going to step into the political realm of J&K either with Sajad Lone’s JKPC or form a new political face to outshine the already dimmed regional political parties.
Regarding the same, while talking to Kashmir News Bureau, Senior Journalist Rameez Makdoomi said that recent political activities signal that no single formation in Jammu and Kashmir is on clear front foot.
“The recent joining of Muzaffar Baig with the JK Peoples Conference shows that the party has come at par with other electoral contenders,” he said.
He said that People’s Conference also signaled that many more prominent political faces are going to join their folds.
If any of it comes to reality, these developments will surely give more nervous chills to Apni Party rather than Gupkar Alliance, he added.
Important to mention that Imran Reza Ansari resigned from the post of General Secretary of JK Peoples Conference on Monday this week. (KNB)
