Srinagar, Nov 9 : Government on Thursday ordered several transfers and postings of KAS officers in the interest of administration.
According to the government order, Dr. Abdul Rashid, KAS, Labour Commissioner, J&K, shall hold the charge of the post of Secretary to the Government, Information Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Pardeep Singh, KAS, under orders of transfer as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Zanskar, is posted as Regional Transport Officer, Kathua (Hqr: Lakhanpur), vice Mr. Amarjeet Singh, KAS, who shall await further orders of posting in the General Administration Department.
Ms. Vivek Sharma, KAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Samba, is transferred and posted as Member, J&K Services Selection Board.
Rohit Khajuria, KAS, Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, against an available vacancy.
Jatinder Singh, KAS, Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, J&K, is transferred and posted as Director,
Command Area Development, Jammu, vice Rohit Khajuria. (GNS)
