Srinagar, March 08(KNB): Senior PDP Leader Sartaj Madni appealed Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya pal Malik to release the salary of Panchs and sarpanch of the year 2017 of Devsar constituency of district Kulgam with held from last 22 months.
While talking to Kashmir News Bureau, Sartaj Madni said, “After the assembly was dissolved the Governor made the announcement to release the salaries of Panchs and Sarpanchs of Devsar Constituency from Centre which was withheld from almost a year, it has been more than 20 months now but not a single panny has been released.I am requesting to Governor Satya pal Malik to look into the matter and release the salaries of Panchs and Sarpanchs.”
Farooq Ahmad Pir, Sarpanch of Halqa GD.Pora said, “We are going through tough times due to the delay in our salaries, we urge the Governor’s administration to release our salaries with held from last 22 months and mitigate our sufferings.”(KNB)
