State Press Forum discussed problems of people associated with media

SRINAGAR, May 12
: State Press Forum (SPF), an independent body of people associated with media industry in Kashmir, today highlighted some of the issues facing by the people associated with media industry here.

Many professional editors, Journalists and other people from the industry met in a local hotel here and resolved their vision on key issues which they have been confronting from last many years.
The meeting affirmed that empanelment for advertisements of scores of Daily and Weekly Newspapers should be taken by the government as priority basis and an aura of professionalism should be infused in the field of Journalism and high ethics maintained.

The forum also highlighted the accommodation problems faced by many working journalists who have been residing in city on rented accommodation to perform their duty.

The meeting was attended by dozens of media persons from Print and electronic media.
State Press Forum also emphasized that soon a state wide campaign for including a professional journalists via a proactive membership drive would be launched.

State Press Forum would soon divulge its vision on key policy matters.
