Budgam, June 21(KNB): A young youth, resident of Central Budgam was arrested by police after trying to jump from running train at the station.
Johan Mohd Sheikh son of Zahoor Ahmed Sheikh resident of Kawoosa Khalsa Budgam tried to jump from a running train at Naidgam Budgam today at 1000 hrs after which he has been arrested and action as warranted under law has been initiated aganist him.
As per the reports, several young youth are continously repeating the same incident from past few days of jumping from a running train at an under-construction halt site as it was slowing down at Naidgam village due to which a young boy Musaib Ahmad Beigh resident of Wadwan received several injuries on Thursday.
Meanwhile, a video has gone viral on social media in which young youth could be seen jumping from the running train who was later injured.
While talking to Kashmir News Bureau SSP Budgam said,”If youth do it without caring for their lives, accidents are bound to happen, a halt station is being constructed at the spot, however it is not completed yet, the incidents are happening all due to gross negligence of passengers who jump from a running train.”(KNB)
