Srinagar: Member Legislative Assembly Wachi Adv Ajaz Mir and MLC Firdous Tak visited pellet victims at SMHS hospital Srinagar.
Some youth were injured in police action after a mob resorted to stone pelting following a road mishap leading to death of a girl. The PDP legislators visited the wounded who were caught in the action recieving injuries. The legislator asked the doctors to provide quality medicare facility to the wounded. The legislators were accompanied by Sheeraz Ahmed, Tahir Sayeed and Sajad Ahmed.
Earlier immediately after learning about the unfortunate incident of road mishap Advocate Aijaz Ahmed spoke to civil and police administration seeking immediate action against the culprit. Expressing grief over the death the legislator extended condolence to the bereaved family and demanded compensation.
He was assured that action wartanted under law would be taken in the mishap. Police later filed FIR against the accused army driver for rash and negligent driving leading to death of the minor child.
