The ruling National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday said the People’s Democratic Party was created by the BJP to counter NC’s influence in the state.
Both the BJP and the NC had tacit understanding, Devendra Singh Rana, political advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, said.
“The PDP is a brainchild of the BJP. It is a creation of the BJP to counter the influence of the NC,” he said.
Interacting with various deputations during his two-day tour of Marmat area in Doda district, Rana said several power generation initiatives taken by the Omar Abdullah government would make Chenab Valley an economic hub.
He said economic resurgence would take place in Chenab Valley in the next couple of years which would transform life of the people of the area.
